Greg Casar, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 35th district since 2023, has recently voiced concerns through a series of tweets regarding actions taken by Elon Musk and the Trump administration. Born in Houston, Texas, in 1989, Casar currently resides in Austin and holds a BA from the University of Virginia.

On March 15, 2025, Casar tweeted about Elon Musk's involvement with the Social Security Administration. He stated: "Elon Musk has installed a private equity investor and one of his closest allies at the Social Security Administration. Musk says Social Security is a ponzi scheme and wants to cut it. Protect Social security. Fire Elon Musk."

The following day, on March 16, 2025, Casar criticized the Trump administration for its handling of immigration cases involving children with severe health issues. He wrote: "The Trump administration deported a 10 year old child who is a US citizen with brain cancer, and they’re preventing her from accessing life-saving treatment. Disgusting."

Later that same day, Casar addressed another issue involving Elon Musk's influence over national systems. He tweeted: "Pay attention to this: Musk is trying to make our air traffic control system 'dependent' on him by integrating his equipment, which has not gone through security and risk-management review. It's corruption. And it's dangerous. Fire Elon Musk."
