Lloyd Doggett, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 37th district, has recently shared a series of critical tweets on his official social media account. The posts reflect his stance on various political issues and figures.

On March 12, 2025, Doggett criticized Elon Musk for allegedly insulting a decorated Navy combat pilot and former NASA astronaut. He stated: "Musk took time from gleefully firing patriotic Americans, including thousands of military veterans, to call a decorated Navy combat pilot and former NASA astronaut visiting Ukrainian soldiers in hospitals a 'traitor.'"

Later that day, Doggett expressed disapproval towards Republican actions concerning oversight of Elon Musk and DOGE. He tweeted: "Hear no evil. See no evil. By refusing to permit our questioning of Musk and defeating my resolution demanding accountability from DOGE, Republicans continue their 'Don’t Know & Don’t Care' approach. Reining in waste is fine, but the GOP is giving Musk near free rein to invade…"

On March 13, 2025, Doggett criticized the Trump administration's foreign policy approach. He wrote: "The Trump administration is misleading the US into full retreat as leader of the free world. Too weak to stand up to either Vladimir Putin or his own isolationist extremist supporters, he rejects soft power to project American strength."
