San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) will host a public input meeting to gather feedback for the upcoming major renovation and expansion of the Carver Branch Library. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 8 at 6 p.m. at Second Baptist Church (3310 E. Commerce St., 78220).
San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is adding its 45th nonstop destination: Burbank, California. Southwest Airlines will start new service to Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) in June 2024.
On October 19, the San Antonio City Council approved an ordinance requiring domestic violence resources signage to be posted in places of public accommodation. The ordinance will require local businesses to display signage in their bathrooms to expand communication of domestic violence prevention, link individuals to resources more quickly, and raise awareness of the issue among community members.
San Antonio International Airport (SAT) conducted a routine training exercise to simulate a real-world emergency incident involving a plane crash. San Antonio International Airport (SAT) announced its eighth nonstop international destination today: Torreon, Mexico (TRC). Viva Aerobus, Mexico’s ultra-low-cost airline, announced it will begin flying to its fifth Mexican city from SAT on June 1, 2024. SAT will be one of only two U.S. cities with nonstop service to TRC. Violators of this order may face civil penalties and fines up to $5,000.
