Lloyd Doggett, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 37th district, has been vocal on social media about various issues. In his recent tweets, he addressed topics ranging from healthcare to international politics.

On March 19, 2025, Doggett highlighted the limitations in Medicare coverage for dental, vision, and hearing care that affect sixty-six million seniors and individuals with disabilities. He stated that he and Senator Bernie Sanders are advocating for an expansion of Medicare benefits to ensure dignity and health for all. "Sixty-six million seniors and individuals with disabilities rely on Medicare. Yet, coverage is limited for dental, vision & hearing."

Later that day, Doggett criticized former President Donald Trump regarding a concession related to Russian President Vladimir Putin. He expressed concern over Putin's ability to focus on destructive activities following the concession. "What a big concession Trump the Great Appeaser secured."

In another tweet on the same day, Doggett condemned Trump's call for the impeachment of a judge due to disagreement with their decisions. He emphasized the importance of maintaining checks and balances within the democratic system and called upon the Supreme Court to uphold lower court rulings despite political pressures. "Trump’s latest anti-democratic outrage, calling for impeachment of a judge with whom he disagrees..."
