Congressman Greg Casar, representing Texas' 35th district since 2023, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing significant international and domestic issues. Casar, born in Houston and currently residing in Austin, has been vocal about his positions on foreign policy and social justice matters.

On March 18, 2025, Congressman Casar expressed concerns over the actions of the Israeli government. He stated: "The Israeli government has started bombing Gaza again, in violation of the negotiated ceasefire, after blocking food, water, and aid for weeks." He further urged for a halt in sending offensive weapons to Israel and criticized what he perceives as complicity in Prime Minister Netanyahu's actions.

On March 19, 2025, Casar addressed deportation practices under former President Trump. He tweeted: "Trump is deporting people who have never even been accused of a crime to an El Salvadoran prison, in defiance of a court order." He condemned Trump's invocation of laws reminiscent of those used during World War II to intern Japanese Americans and emphasized the importance of due process rights.

Later that day, Congressman Casar commented on Social Security policies involving Elon Musk and Donald Trump. He highlighted their approach as detrimental to vulnerable populations by stating: "Here's how Musk and Trump are trying to slash Social Security and call it 'rooting out fraud:'" detailing measures such as closing offices which impede identity verification processes for seniors and disabled individuals.
