Lloyd Doggett, a U.S. Congress member representing Texas' 37th district, has recently expressed his views on various political figures and issues through a series of tweets. His remarks focus on international and domestic politics, highlighting comparisons between world leaders and calling for courage among American legislators.

In a tweet posted on February 19, 2025, Doggett commented on the situation involving Russian President Vladimir Putin. He stated: "Another claim from Putin’s man in Washington. Think how Zelensky compares to Trump’s pal, Putin—an indicted war criminal, kidnapper, and murderer of thousands of civilians. The only dictator destroying Ukraine is Putin."

On the same day, Doggett questioned the bravery of Republican senators or Congress members in comparison to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He wrote: "Is there any Republican senator or Congress member who has a fraction of Zelensky’s courage? If so, now would be a good time to show it!"

Later that day, Doggett shared his thoughts on former U.S. President Donald Trump by referencing how the White House refers to him as "The King." Doggett opined: "While the White House is already proudly referring to Trump as 'The King,' I think dictator or tyrant is more descriptive."
