Greg Casar, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Texas' 35th district, has voiced his opinions on various matters through social media. Since taking office in 2023, Casar has been active in discussions about national policies and local initiatives.
On April 7, 2025, Casar criticized the economic policies of former President Donald Trump. "Donald Trump put billionaires and special interests in charge of everything. It’s a disaster. The economy is crashing. Prices are up. Working people are getting screwed."
In another post later the same day, Casar focused on the expenditures of Trump's cabinet members. "NEW: Trump’s billionaire cabinet secretary is using taxpayer-funded helicopters for private trips and is demanding staff bake him cookies. Leave Medicaid and Social Security alone. Cut this guy off."
On April 8, 2025, Casar invited young artists to participate in a local art competition. " SHARE: Do you know a student artist in #TX35? Our Congressional Art Competition is accepting applicants until April 11th! High school artists can submit their artwork for a chance to showcase their talent in DC."
