Congressman Greg Casar, serving Texas' 35th district since 2023, recently voiced strong criticisms via social media regarding former President Donald Trump's actions, focusing on labor rights and economic measures. Casar, who replaced Lloyd Doggett in Congress, uses his platform to discuss pressing issues impacting American workers and families.

On April 2, Congressman Greg Casar expressed concern over Trump's recent executive decision. He described it as "Donald Trump announced his most dangerous attack yet on the rights of American workers." Casar argued that this action undermines the labor rights that have been in place for a century, warning of potential future changes to organizing rights.

Later that day, Congressman Greg Casar highlighted a financial relationship between Mark Zuckerberg and Trump. In a post on April 2, he stated, “Here’s something every American should know...” The congressman alleged that Zuckerberg's financial contribution to Trump via a settlement turned into a favorable tax situation and the removal of officials challenging consumer protection violations.

In a subsequent statement on April 2, Congressman Casar drew attention to Trump's tariff policies. His tweet indicated that “Donald Trump's reckless use of tariffs will raise prices on American families.” Casar asserted that such policies lead to increased consumer costs, juxtaposing these outcomes with tax benefits for the wealthy.
