Joaquin Castro, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’s 20th district, posted a series of tweets discussing political issues and lauding leadership efforts. Castro, who has been serving in Congress since 2013 after replacing Charlie Gonzalez, commented on matters ranging from immigration to advocacy.

On April 1, 2025, Castro addressed an admission by the Trump Administration regarding a deportation error. He stated, "The Trump Administration admitted it made a mistake deporting Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador, even though he had protected status in the United States and had no criminal record. But they are refusing to take responsibility for this grave error and bring Mr. Garcia back".

On April 2, 2025, Castro highlighted the resilience shown by Senator Booker, referencing a recent speech. He remarked, "An incredible example of what grit looks like. In the past 24+ hours, @SenBooker spoke to the experiences of countless Americans in a voice so clear and so true. Thank you for your courage and your leadership during these times.".

On April 3, 2025, Castro shared a tweet with a link devoid of additional commentary, https://t.co/gtROGYt8aR.
