Joaquin Castro, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 20th district, has recently expressed concerns on various issues through his social media platform. Known for his tenure since 2013 in Congress and his previous service in the Texas House of Representatives, Castro's comments touch upon significant matters affecting both state and national interests.

On February 14, 2025, Castro criticized Texas Governor Greg Abbott's educational policies. He stated that "Greg Abbott is losing it because his voucher scam has been exposed." According to Castro, the policy would result in Texas schools losing billions allocated for essential services such as academics and athletics. He also highlighted that many counties lack private school options for parents.

In a subsequent post dated February 16, 2025, Castro addressed concerns over workforce reductions at critical safety organizations. He commented on actions by Elon Musk stating "This is catastrophically dangerous," indicating that layoffs could compromise nuclear disaster prevention efforts.

Finally, on February 17, 2025, Castro turned his attention to aviation safety. He claimed that "Donald Trump and Republicans are making flying more dangerous." His remarks included criticism of Governor Greg Abbott’s silence on the issue despite Texas hosting two major airports.
