Congressman Greg Casar, representing Texas' 35th district since 2023, has taken to social media to express his views on recent political developments involving high-profile figures and government agencies. Born in Houston, Texas, in 1989, and a graduate of the University of Virginia, Casar has been vocal about his stance against what he perceives as undue influence by billionaires in government affairs.

On February 4, 2025, Congressman Casar tweeted a direct call for action: "Fire Elon Musk. No business as usual when a billionaire is taking over our entire government to benefit his own ego and pocketbook. Dems must go all-in to stop the Republican madness."

The following day, February 5, 2025, Casar continued his critique by highlighting concerns about USAID's future under certain leadership influences. He stated: "USAID is just the beginning. Trump and Musk plan to destroy the agency that keeps workers safe and paid. Musk wants to fire the watchdogs that hold big corporations accountable." He further announced plans to rally at the Department of Labor building with a message calling for Musk's dismissal.
