Greg Casar, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 35th district since 2023, has recently shared his perspectives on several key issues via social media. Born in Houston and residing in Austin, Casar has been vocal about international relations, education policies, and domestic welfare programs.

On November 20, 2024, Congressman Greg Casar expressed his support for Senator Bernie Sanders' initiative to block the sale of offensive arms to Israel. He emphasized the need for the United States to take a stand against ongoing violence in Gaza. "The U.S. cannot ignore Netanyahu’s continued bombardment of Gaza and indiscriminate killing of Palestinians. We must save lives, secure a lasting ceasefire, and build a path to peace."

The following day, November 21, 2024, Casar highlighted an educational update regarding financial aid applications. He announced that the U.S. Department of Education had released the FAFSA form for the academic year 2025-26. He encouraged prospective students to commence their applications promptly if they plan on attending school during that period. "The @USEdGov officially released the 2025–26 FAFSA form today! Start your application today if you’re planning on attending school between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026:"

On November 22, 2024, Casar turned his attention to domestic policy by addressing differences between political parties regarding essential social programs. He reaffirmed House Democrats' commitment to protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid while criticizing House Republicans for attempting cuts to these programs. "House Democrats are committed to protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. House Republicans are committed to cutting & slashing these essential programs."
