Congressman Greg Casar, representing Texas' 35th district since 2023, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. His recent tweets have addressed concerns about veteran care, flight safety, and Social Security.

On March 21, 2025, Congressman Casar expressed his disapproval of potential budget cuts affecting veteran services. He stated: "Veteran care should not suffer to pay for tax cuts for billionaires and giant corporations I’m calling on the Trump Administration to stop making cuts to veteran services."

Later that day, Casar criticized actions allegedly taken by Elon Musk regarding air traffic control workers. In a tweet posted at 19:18 UTC, he remarked: "After Musk tried to fire air traffic control workers, flights into Austin were interrupted because of 'staffing in the air traffic control tower.' Musk's 'move fast and break things' approach does not work for things like flight safety. Fire Elon Musk."

On March 22, 2025, Casar addressed concerns related to Social Security in a tweet posted at 19:36 UTC. He cited warnings from Social Security officials about potential impacts of budget cuts proposed by Trump and Musk: "Social Security officials say Trump and Musk cuts could 'create gaping holes in the agency’s infrastructure, destabilizing the program.' They say the damage could 'threaten access to benefits.' Protect Social Security. Fire Elon Musk."
