Congressman Greg Casar, representing Texas' 35th district since 2023, has been vocal on social media about issues concerning major corporations and political figures. His recent tweets have sparked discussions on accountability and governance.

On March 19, 2025, Congressman Casar highlighted actions by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) involving Amazon, Meta, and Tesla. He claimed that "Amazon paid $40M for Melania's documentary - Meta gave Trump $25M - Musk gave Trump hundreds of millions." He further alleged that "Trump is trying to illegally fire FTC commissioners," labeling these actions as "corruption."

Later the same day, Casar criticized Donald Trump's approach to economic management. He tweeted that "Donald Trump runs the economy like someone who has never in his life had to worry about how to afford groceries."

On March 20, 2025, Congressman Casar made a direct statement regarding Elon Musk with a brief tweet: "Fire Elon Musk."
