Congressman Greg Casar, representing Texas' 35th district, has been vocal on social media regarding various political issues. Since replacing Lloyd Doggett in 2023, Casar has actively participated in legislative matters and public discourse.

On March 5, 2025, Congressman Casar criticized former President Donald Trump for not addressing several significant issues during a recent speech. He pointed out that Trump "loves to talk" but avoided discussing topics such as Medicaid cuts, the firing of veterans by Elon Musk, and tax cuts for billionaires.

The following day, March 6, 2025, Casar highlighted what he considers misleading claims by House Republicans. In his tweet, he stated that "House Republicans claim they will pass their billionaire tax cut without cutting Medicaid and Medicare," calling it a lie exposed by Congress’ budget experts.

Later that day on March 6, 2025, Casar tweeted about the severe consequences of reducing USAID funding. He cited alarming statistics: "One million children not treated for severe acute malnutrition," among other health crises exacerbated by such cuts. He warned of the dire impact these actions could have on global health.
