There were 292 African American students enrolled in Basis Texas School District in the 2022-23 school year, 68.8% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Basis Texas School District welcomed 4,972 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 5.9% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.
