Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Aveda Institute-San Antonio

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Aveda Institute-San Antonio, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $16,500 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 69 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 106 students received grants or scholarships totaling $499,726 and 132 students took out student loans totaling more than $772,503.

Including all undergraduates (237), 201 students used grants or scholarships totaling $874,348, and 223 students took out $1.3 million in federal student loans.
