Graduates earn 1,381 degrees, certificates from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio

About 94.6 percent of the 1,381 degrees and certificates handed out by The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Antonio conferred 386 certificates and 369 doctor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in emergency medical technology/technician (emt paramedic). Data shows the school gave out 344 certificates in emergency medical technology/technician (emt paramedic), followed by 289 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 206 doctor's degrees in medicine.

The university enrolled 3,292 students for 2017-18, including 774 in undergraduate programs and 2,518 in graduate programs.
