Lloyd Doggett, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 37th district, recently shared his perspectives on social media regarding several pressing issues. His tweets addressed concerns about Elon Musk's acquisition of sensitive information, criticized the economic plans of House Republicans under Trump's influence, and commented on promises related to price reductions.

On February 13, 2025, Doggett called for "Elon Musk and his DOGE Musketeers must come before Congress to explain themselves." He questioned the necessity for the world's richest man to access Americans' most sensitive information at the Treasury Department.

Later that day, he critiqued Republican lawmakers in another post: "House Republicans are yielding to Trump's demands for trillions in new tax breaks for his billionaire buddies." Doggett referred to their budget reconciliation as “wreckonciliation,” an economic plan that he claims fails to deliver on promises to reduce prices for families.

Continuing his critique of Republican policies, Doggett tweeted: "Trump said on day one, you'd see some 'pretty drastic price reductions.' Nope." He argued that the GOP's economic plan does not lower family costs but instead benefits billionaires with a $4.5 trillion tax bonus.
