There were 240 white students enrolled in Harlandale ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 21.8% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Harlandale ISD schools welcomed 12,174 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Harlandale ISD roughly covers schools within Bexar County and has a main office in San Antonio.

Among the 28 schools in Harlandale ISD schools, McCollum High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 40 students.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
