There were 51 multiracial students enrolled in ComPASS Rose Academy School District in the 2022-23 school year, 41.7% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that ComPASS Rose Academy School District welcomed 2,702 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 1.9% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

ComPASS Rose Academy School District roughly covers schools within Bexar County and has a main office in San Antonio.

Among the five schools in ComPASS Rose Academy School District, Compass Rose Destiny recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 13 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
