There were 735 students enrolled in Inspire Academies in the 2022-23 school year, 15.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 54.6% of them were boys, and 45.4% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 53.1% of the Inspire Academies total enrollment.

Inspire Academies roughly covers schools within Bexar County with its main office in San Antonio.

Among the six schools in Inspire Academies, Anne Frank Inspire Academy recorded the highest enrollment of 561 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
