On Tuesday, March 12, former Veterans Memorial High School standout Cassandra Valdez’s current college team, the Our Lady of the Lake Saints, won 9-1 in their NAIA game against the Doane Tigers.

The game took place in San Antonio, Texas. This was their second matchup against the Doane Tigers this season.

The Saints’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 14 at 11 a.m. in Hobbs, New Mexico against Southwest Mustangs.
