The media event scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 17 for the San Antonio River cleanup is canceled due to the weather, which altered the timeline for the City’s cleanup operations.
The Main Channel of the river remains drained, but the cleanup efforts were completed ahead of schedule on Sunday, Jan. 14 to stay ahead of the weather.
Other maintenance work will be performed throughout this week. The refilling of the river will still be concluded by Sunday, Jan. 21, according to schedule.
