SAN ANTONIO  — Councilwoman Phyllis Viagran made several visits this morning to District 3 San Antonio Fire Stations and substations to deliver delicious pecan and pumpkin pies to first responders.

With the holidays around the corner, first responders work endless hours to keep our community safe. The District 3 office is greatly appreciative of their time, and hopes that a sweet piece of pie can bring joy to the crews while they celebrate in between their emergency runs.

This sweet gesture of gratitude is a small gift of gratitude for their dedication, often sacrificing time with their families.

“Pies are a classic holiday treat that brings people together,” the District 3 Councilwoman said, “and we hope that it brings a smile to the faces of our local heroes.”

The District 3 Councilwoman encourages residents to enjoy this time with loved ones. Keep in mind, that Police, Animal Care Service, Fire, and EMS personnel will be on duty in case you have an emergency.
