SAN ANTONIO — The City of San Antonio’s Office of Historic Preservation invites kids from Pre-K through elementary ages to channel their inner superhero and face off at the Amazing Preservation Race for Kids onSaturday, August 5, at Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The Amazing Preservation Race for Kids is a fun, place-focused scavenger hunt for the whole family that explores San Antonio history and architecture. Racers will discover the many hidden treasures of Yanaguana Garden.
All racers will be given a passport with a map leading them to a series of fun and interactive challenges including an archaeological dig, tower building, and gondola race.
Registration is now open and it includes race entry, event t-shirt, and finisher’s medal. Cost is $5 per child. Spaces are limited.
