The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Joaquin Castro, Castro for Congress, refunded $1,000 to Eleanor B. Crook on March 24, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Castro for Congress has refunded $2,000 total since Oct. 1, 2020.
