Baptist University of the Americas enrolls 154 undergrads

At Baptist University of the Americas, 56 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in San Antonio enrolled 154 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 9.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

79 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas. 21 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (55 percent) and white (6 percent).
