On February 3, 2025, Doggett highlighted the humanitarian efforts of USAID in various global crises. He stated that "USAID provides food for refugees fleeing Sudan war; clean water for war-torn Ukrainian communities; medical supplies for victims of land mine accidents in Laos; and shelter for millions of displaced Venezuelans in Peru." In this tweet, he referenced a controversial statement by Donald Trump about patriotic Americans.

Later the same day, Doggett shared a quote from former President Ronald Reagan regarding international trade relations. He urged followers to "Listen to Ronald Reagan: 'Our peaceful trading partners are not our enemies; they are our allies...'" This message cautioned against demagogues advocating for trade wars that could potentially harm economic stability and national security.
