How many Asian students were enrolled in Inspire Academies School District in 2022-23 school year?

There were six Asian students enrolled in Inspire Academies School District in the 2022-23 school year, 100% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Inspire Academies School District welcomed 735 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.8% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Inspire Academies School District roughly covers schools within Bexar County and has a main office in San Antonio.

Among the six schools in Inspire Academies School District, Anne Frank Inspire Academy recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of four students.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
