State Representative Trey Wharton has announced the opening of a new district office in Huntsville, Texas. The office, located at 2503 Lake Road, Suite A-100, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 1 at 5:15 PM.
“It has been an honor to serve the residents of House District 12 during my first legislative session in the Texas House,” said Rep. Wharton. “We achieved meaningful results for our district—cutting property taxes, investing in water infrastructure, passing common-sense bail reform, and supporting the men and women of law enforcement. Opening this district office is another important step toward providing direct, accessible service to the people we represent.”
The office will operate Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and aims to assist constituents with state agency matters, legislative inquiries, or other district-related issues. The staff includes Patti Utley as District Director, Julie Porter as Constituent Services Director, J.T. Langley handling Constituent Services, and Makenna McDaniel and Michelle Moya serving as Legislative Aides.
Constituents can reach the office by phone at (936) 649-0510 or visit in person. Additionally, mobile district office hours will be launched later this year to provide services across all counties within House District 12.
“JoLynne and I invite everyone from across House District 12 to join us for the ribbon cutting on Tuesday, July 1 at 5:15 PM. We look forward to welcoming the community, introducing our staff, and officially opening the doors to this new chapter of constituent service,” said Wharton.
