Enrollment Analysis: American Indian students comprised 0.4% of Jubilee Academies School District's student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 26 American Indian students enrolled in Jubilee Academies School District in the 2022-23 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Jubilee Academies School District welcomed 6,192 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.4% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Jubilee Academies School District roughly covers schools within Bexar County and has a main office in San Antonio.

Among the 13 schools in Jubilee Academies School District, Jubilee Brownsville recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of eight students.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
