There were 12 American Indian students enrolled in South San Antonio ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that South San Antonio ISD schools welcomed 7,922 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

South San Antonio ISD roughly covers schools within Bexar County and has a main office in San Antonio.

Among the 20 schools in South San Antonio ISD schools, South San Antonio High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of four students.
