Enrollment Analysis: Pacific Islander students comprised 0.5% of San Antonio Preparatory Schools District's student body in 2021-22 school year

There was one Pacific Islander student enrolled in San Antonio Preparatory Schools District in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that San Antonio Preparatory Schools District welcomed 205 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Pacific Islander students comprised 0.5% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

San Antonio Preparatory Schools District roughly covers schools within Bexar County and has a main office in San Antonio.

San Antonio Preparatory was the only school in the district which enrolled Pacific Islander students, welcoming one student in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
