There were 489 students enrolled in Eleanor Kolitz Hebrew Language Academy in the 2021-22 school year, 4.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 54.2% of them were girls, and 45.8% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 51.1% of the Eleanor Kolitz Hebrew Language Academy total enrollment.

Eleanor Kolitz Hebrew Language Academy roughly covers schools within Bexar County with its main office in San Antonio.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
