There were 3,141 students enrolled in Brooks Academies of Texas in the 2021-22 school year, 2% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.7% of them were boys, and 49.3% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 80% of the Brooks Academies of Texas total enrollment.

Brooks Academies of Texas roughly covers schools within Bexar County with its main office in San Antonio.

Among the four schools in Brooks Academies of Texas, Brooks Collegiate Academy recorded the highest enrollment of 1,461 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
