Cost of college went down for all students at Mims Classic Beauty College

Tuition and fees fell 0.6 percent for 2018-19 at Mims Classic Beauty College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $15,500 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $5,400 more than the $10,100 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 63 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 15 students received grants or scholarships totaling $51,733.

Including all undergraduates (37), 18 students used grants or scholarships totaling $59,625.
