Graduates earn 168 degrees, certificates from the The Art Institute of San Antonio

About 51.2 percent of the 168 degrees and certificates handed out by the The Art Institute of San Antonio in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Antonio conferred 83 bachelor's degrees and 3 associate's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in baking and pastry arts/baker/pastry chef. Data shows the school gave out 21 associate's degrees in baking and pastry arts/baker/pastry chef, followed by 20 associate's degrees in culinary arts/chef training and 18 bachelor's degrees in intermedia/multimedia.

The institute enrolled 671 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
