San Diego Toreros, featuring former Reagan High School standout Jagger Edwards, were defeated 11-1 by the California Golden Bears in an NCAA Division I baseball game on Friday, March 6, with the first pitch at 6:05 p.m.

Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium hosted the contest, which marked the Toreros’ first meeting with the Golden Bears this season.

Edwards allowed four earned runs in 2.1 innings pitched, walking two batters.

The Toreros are scheduled to play their next game against California at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium on Saturday, March 7, at 1:05 p.m.
