Rep. Pat Fallon, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 4th district, shared his views on various national security issues through a series of tweets on June 16, 2025. Fallon, who succeeded John Ratcliffe in 2021 and has a background in both the Texas House of Representatives and Senate, discussed matters ranging from international conflict to domestic law enforcement.
In a tweet posted at 4:00 PM UTC, Rep. Fallon addressed the potential for conflict with Iran. He stated, “We do not want to see a full-blown conflict with Iran, but we absolutely do want to make clear of the offensive strike power that the US military is capable of.” He emphasized the importance of “peace through strength,” highlighting force projection as a means to deter aggressive actions by other nations.
Later that day at 5:35 PM UTC, Fallon turned his attention to technological threats, particularly focusing on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He noted that “Cheap, deadly UAVs in the hands of our adversaries pose a serious risk to our national security and that of our allies.” To counter these threats, he advocated for deploying advanced counter-drone systems aimed at enhancing detection and neutralization capabilities.
At 6:07 PM UTC, Rep. Fallon commented on domestic political issues involving federal law enforcement agencies. He criticized California Democrats for allegedly subjecting ICE personnel to doxxing and threats while affirming that Congressional Republicans are focused on passing what he referred to as the “Big Beautiful Bill” to ensure these agencies have necessary funding and resources.
Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1967 and currently residing in Frisco, Pat Fallon graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA before embarking on his political career.
