Rep. Pat Fallon, a U.S. Congressman from Texas who has consistently won re-election since 2020, posted several statements on his official X account on January 9, 2026, addressing topics ranging from law enforcement appreciation to criticisms of perceived dishonesty in public discourse.

In an early morning post, Fallon wrote, “As a regime mouthpiece, maybe you should sit this one out.” (January 9, 2026). Later that day, he marked Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with a message stating, “On this Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we honor the courageous men and women who risk their lives to keep our communities safe and defend the rule of law. Thank you for your unwavering service and sacrifice.” (January 9, 2026).

By the evening, Fallon commented further on political discourse by posting: “This is a level of dishonesty that even Stalin would find appalling. Unhinged.” (January 9, 2026).

Fallon’s comments come as he continues his tenure in Congress after winning multiple elections by wide margins. In the most recent general election held in 2024, Fallon defeated Simon Cardell with over two-thirds of the vote. He previously secured victories against Iro Omere in 2022 and Russell Foster in 2020 with similar majorities.
