Rep. Pat Fallon, who has represented Texas’s 4th District in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently shared a series of posts addressing issues related to national security and military preparedness. Fallon, 55, was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA, and currently resides in Frisco. He previously served in both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate before succeeding John Ratcliffe in Congress.
On July 12, 2025, Fallon addressed concerns regarding delays in delivering technology to U.S. troops due to inefficiencies in the acquisition system. He stated that “A broken acquisition system delays critical tech for our troops. The #FY26NDAA cuts red tape, streamlines processes, and delivers what warfighters need faster. @HASCRepublicans are focused on efficiency to ensure our military is equipped to defend our great Republic.”
On July 13, 2025, Fallon reflected on an attempted assassination incident involving President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. He wrote: “Today marks a solemn day in US history. The Butler, PA, assassination attempt nearly cost President Trump his life, but it cost volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore his. These security failures should NEVER have happened–USSC has made reforms, but there’s much to be done.”
Later that same day on July 13, Fallon discussed military recruitment efforts and highlighted provisions within the FY26 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). According to Fallon: “To meet rising threats, we must boost our recruitment. The #FY26NDAA enhances benefits, modernizes facilities, and funds elite training to attract top recruits. @HASCRepublicans are building a military career that offers unmatched support and opportunity.”
Fallon’s recent statements come as part of his ongoing work as a member of Congress focusing on defense policy and veterans’ affairs.
