Rep. Pat Fallon, who represents Texas’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on July 15, 2025, addressing national defense, domestic mineral production, and agricultural policy.
In his first post at 17:12 UTC, Fallon highlighted the significance of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026: “The #FY26NDAA builds on an already outstanding year for our military. With the looming threat posed by China in the Indo-Pacific, this bill invests in the US warfighter to ensure they have all the tools and resources they need to deter our adversaries and prevail.”
Later that day at 19:00 UTC, Fallon emphasized the importance of domestic mineral production for national security: “We must mine our own critical minerals to break China’s grip on tech and defense supply chains. Streamlining permitting will get American workers back in action. Domestic production is key to our economic and national security.”
At 23:00 UTC, he commented on recent actions by the U.S. Department of Agriculture regarding sugar imports: “By blocking additional specialty sugar imports, USDA is shielding our agricultural sector from foreign competition. This is critical as Texas farmers fight Mexico’s noncompliance with the 1944 Water Treaty, ensuring our growers have the opportunity to thrive.”
Fallon has served in Congress since replacing John Ratcliffe in 2021 and previously held positions in both chambers of the Texas Legislature from 2013 through early 2021. He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1967 and currently resides in Frisco. Fallon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame.
