Rep. Pat Fallon, who has represented Texas’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently commented on national security spending and government efficiency through a series of posts on social media. Fallon, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and resident of Frisco, has also served in both chambers of the Texas legislature prior to his current role.

On July 14, 2025, Fallon emphasized the importance of prioritizing national security over bureaucracy in federal spending. He stated: “Taxpayer dollars must prioritize national security, not bureaucracy. The #FY26NDAA reforms acquisition, cuts red tape, and enhances oversight to deliver capability to our forces. @HASCRepublicans are ensuring efficiency for a stronger, more effective military.”

Later that day, Fallon expressed support for measures aimed at improving the nation’s defense industrial base. At 16:50 UTC on July 14, he wrote: “This is a great step forward to restoring and strengthening our defense industrial base!”

In another post on July 14 at 17:00 UTC, Fallon questioned the efficiency of the federal workforce and advocated for passage of President Trump’s rescissions package as a means to reduce wasteful spending. He said: “If someone is thinking the federal government with 2+ million employees is working at maximum efficiency, I have bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you. We need the Senate to pass President Trump’s rescissions package to put an end to billions that became waste, fraud & abuse.”

Pat Fallon was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1967 and succeeded John Ratcliffe as representative for Texas’s 4th district.
