Rep. Pat Fallon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 4th district, has shared his views on recent developments in national security and border control through a series of tweets. Fallon, who succeeded John Ratcliffe in 2021, has been vocal about his support for certain policies and initiatives.
On June 19, 2025, Rep. Fallon expressed satisfaction with recruitment targets being met after four years of missed goals. He described it as “Excellent news after 4yrs of missed recruiting targets!”.
The following day, on June 20, he praised former President Trump’s leadership regarding border security. In his tweet, Fallon stated that “Under President Trump’s bold action & leadership, Border Patrol encounters dropped to 8,725 in May 2025, a 93% decrease from last year’s 117,905.” He emphasized this as an example of what he considers effective border management compared to previous policies.
Later that day, Rep. Fallon highlighted the importance of investing in hypersonic defense systems. He warned about China’s potential expansion in this area by noting that “By 2035, China’s hypersonic weapons arsenal could grow from 600 to 4,000 weapons.” He stressed the necessity for the U.S. to invest in its own programs to maintain global dominance and deter adversaries.
Pat Fallon’s background includes serving in the Texas House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019 and the Texas Senate from 2019 to 2021 before joining Congress. Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1967 and currently residing in Frisco at age 55, he is an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame.
