Rep. Pat Fallon, who represents Texas’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing national defense and media funding.
On July 17, 2025, Fallon wrote about expanding Pentagon involvement in border operations: “The #FY26NDAA expands Pentagon involvement in domestic border operations — a necessary step to keep our southern border secure. We must utilize every tool we can to defend sovereignty, enforce the law, and protect our citizens from crime and illegal activity.”
Later that day, he questioned public broadcasting organizations’ claims regarding federal funding: “Yet NPR and PBS have both continually said that the federal funding they receive is essentially a sliver of their overall budgets… So which is it? https://t.co/ARTVpdUBJ1”
In another post on July 17, Fallon criticized NPR’s editorial decisions: “Remember, ‘unbiased’ NPR refused to cover this. https://t.co/Eat48c1dmg”
Fallon has served as the representative for Texas’s 4th District since 2021 after succeeding John Ratcliffe. He previously held positions in the Texas House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019 and in the Texas Senate from 2019 to 2021. Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1967, Fallon currently resides in Frisco and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
