Rep. Chip Roy Press Office, the communications account for U.S. Congressman Chip Roy of Texas’s 21st District, published a series of posts on June 1 and June 2, 2026, advocating for election security measures, immigration reform, and support for the Trump Administration’s policies.

On June 1, the office called for legislative action to limit voting rights to citizens and implement voter identification requirements: “Protect American elections with citizen-only voting and Voter ID. It’s common sense—pass Rep. Roy’s SAVE America Act!”

Later that day, another post addressed immigration policy: “We must hit PAUSE on all immigration until we fundamentally fix our broken system. The American people are done being taken advantage of by the rest of the world. Our immigration system is supposed to benefit Americans.”

On June 2, Rep. Roy appeared to express support for actions taken by the Trump Administration while urging Congress to fulfill its promises: ‘Rep. Roy: “We’re doing a lot of great things as a country because the Trump Administration is doing what it said it would do. Congress needs to step to the plate and do what we said we would do.” @MorningsMaria https://t.co/vlFIlplF2K’

Chip Roy has served in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’s 21st District since replacing Lamar Smith in 2019. He has secured re-election multiple times, most recently defeating Kristin Hook in 2024 with nearly 62% of the vote.
