Rep. Chip Roy Press Office posted a series of statements on social media addressing legislative priorities, criticism of political opponents, and activities in the U.S. House of Representatives.

On March 25, 2026, Rep. Roy addressed the Senate regarding his SAVE America Act, stating, “I don’t care how you do it. Get it done. That’s what the American people want. They don’t want to know about all the mess. Just deliver it. So that’s my message to the Senate.”

Later that day, he commented on funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), saying, “What’s happening here is Democrats are trying to leverage and hold hostage the American people to try to score political points, which is somewhat ironic because I don’t know how they’re scoring political points with anybody other than the very invaders”.

On March 26, 2026, Rep. Roy highlighted an event on the House floor: ” HAPPENING TODAY: The Sharia-Free America Caucus takes over the House floor for a full hour of speeches. The Sharia-Free America Caucus is now up to 59 members across 24 states. STOP SHARIA. DEFEND WESTERN CIVILIZATION.”

Rep. Chip Roy has represented Texas’s 21st District in Congress since replacing Lamar Smith in 2019 and has won multiple re-election campaigns since then—most recently defeating Kristin Hook in 2024 with nearly 62% of the vote.
