Rep. Chip Roy Press Office has announced a series of statements and legislative actions focusing on organizations like CAIR, the vetting process for immigrants, and efforts to expand denaturalization policies.

Later that day, Rep. Roy addressed concerns regarding immigrant vetting processes: “You have thousands of people who are brought here, who are not properly vetted, and who frankly lied in their application process.
These are people that ought to be removed.
I think they’re going to call this D-Day for denaturalization.” (May 8, 2026).
