Rep. Chip Roy Press Office, representing Texas’s 21st district, has issued a series of statements on social media addressing education, immigration policy, and national security.

On April 10, 2026, the press office posted: “The Alamo is NOT an Islamic site—period. Sharia law, Islamism, and revisionist garbage pushed by groups like CAIR have no place in Texas classrooms. Rep. Roy and @RepBrandonGill are urging the Texas State Board of Education to REJECT this propaganda.”

Later that day, another statement addressed immigration policy: “Giving illegal aliens relief from deportation is AMNESTY. Ditch the Dignity Act, deliver mass deportations “ (April 10, 2026).

On April 11, 2026, Rep. Roy’s office commented on national security measures: “Rep. Roy: ‘The President has rightly paused flow from countries that have significant terrorism activity and aren’t our friends. We need to codify that PAUSE and fix our system.'”

Chip Roy has served in the U.S. Congress since 2019 after replacing Lamar Smith as representative for Texas’s 21st district. He has won several consecutive elections since then: defeating Joseph Kopser in 2018 with just over half the vote; Wendy Davis in 2020; Claudia Zapata in 2022; and Kristin Hook in 2024 with nearly two-thirds of the vote.
